1. Intangibility
- Cannot be touched or seen.

3. Inseparability
- Production and consumption happen simultaneously.
- Example: Haircut, teaching.
4. Inventory (Perishability)
- Services cannot be stored.
- Unused services are lost forever.
5. Involvement
- Customer participates in the service process.
- Example: Banking, education.
